The Brimstone EV Fire Suppressor Mister™ is a powerful, precision-engineered firefighting tool designed to enhance cooling and suppression capabilities during lithium-ion battery fire emergencies. Our Mister delivers a 10 gpm (38 lpm) low-flow water mist spray (firefighting droplet size / <1,000 microns) directly to the vehicle’s undercarriage. Tests validate the Mister’s low-flow rate is as effective as high-flow models while preserving water resources and reducing the amount of toxic runoff. And our low-profile Mister head (only 2.25” / 5.7 cm tall) easily fits under most vehicles and features 15 omni-directional nozzles. Built for efficiency, durability, and ease of use, the Brimstone EV Fire Suppressor Mister is an essential addition to any li-ion battery fire response toolkit.

How it Works:

  • The Mister is designed to be used in conjunction with an EV blanket during an electric vehicle fire—creating a comprehensive EV Fire Suppressor System™.
  • Covering a vehicle quickly with an EV blanket, when done with a good ground seal, will provide a measure of containment and protection. It helps deprive the fire of free oxygen, thus suppressing flames, which in turn instantly lowers the temperature and decreases the smoke volume.
  • Then the Mister delivers water directly to the vehicle's undercarriage to cool the chassis, pulling heat away from the battery modules, to shut down a thermal runaway event.

Important Details

  • Intended for use in the event of an electric vehicle fire (lithium-ion battery fire) or standard vehicle fire.
  • 6” Diameter “no tip” Mister spray head with 15 individual omni-directional spray mist nozzles.
  • Delivers true firefighting droplets <1,000 microns.
  • The system includes a valve pipe with a twist-to-open valve and an “always active” universal swivel, along with three standard pipe lengths for customizable assembly.
  • Each connection has large threading for ease of assembly.
  • Hose connection has a 1.5” forestry lug fitting (compatible with US fire hoses and trucks).
